We are so excited to announce that there is a new app to help you with communication between
your home helpers and your family about the care of your loved one. The Brite Trace
Caregiving App will be available by mid-May of 2024 and will many features and benefits. Too
many to list in this blog. So we want to point out one big one:
Brite Trace has developed a way for different family and friend caregivers to quickly and easily
capture and communicate information about the status of care of your loved one.
As a family caregiver of someone with dementia, you know the importance of good
communication about your loved one with your family and other people who assist you in the
day-to-day caregiving duties. It’s important that information about medications, meal schedules,
mood triggers, etc., don’t fall through the cracks. If you need to leave the house and your
neighbor comes to sit with your loved one for a few hours, it’s critical that your neighbor knows
that your loved one just had the afternoon dose of medication, or needs to have a glass of
orange juice at 3:00pm.
Excellent communication between caregivers allows for the transfer and contributions of
information and alignment of family caregiving tasks and responsibilities. Maintaining up-to-date
information that is readily available to every caregiver ensuring that everyone understands the
necessary tasks and responsibilities is a challenge for most families.

can be accessed by your family and other helpers. This app will help save time, save money,
and feel better about the quality of care your loved one receives.
